Does Aquatabs kill cryptosporidium?
In this World Health Organization report, Aquatabs had a 0.2-log (or 36%) reduction of Cryptosporidium parvum oocysts. Protozoan oocysts have a hard outer shell that are quite resistant to chemical disinfection. If you suspect your water has Cryptosporidium, boil your water at a roaring boil for at least one minute.
Are Aquatabs hazardous to humans?
No. Aquatabs are certified to NSF ANSI Standard 60 and approved by the US EPA, WHO; Registered with US EPA (specified sizes only, reference US EPA registration 71847-4).

For any fresh water above 40°F (4°C)
Determine Water Volume + Quality
Prior to use, determine the size of your water vessel. Determine whether it is clear or cloudy. Try to remove as much dirt or debris as possible.
Drop Tablet In
Insert one appropriately-sized tablet into your water container using the dosage chart below.
Wait 30 Minutes
Mix well, then allow to stand for 30 minutes before drinking.
